COL Joseph A. MarsigliaCOL Joseph A. Marsiglia is the Assistant Surgeon General (IMA) for Mobilization Readiness and Army Reserve Affairs Office, The Surgeon General and the Deputy Commander (IMA) for the Army Reserve Medical Command, Pinellas Park, FL. His previous assignments include Commander of the Central Medical Readiness Support Group, Fort Sheridan, IL, Commander of the 4203rd U.S. Army Hospital, Nashville, TN, Commander of the 785th Combat Operational Stress Control Detachment, Fort Snelling, MN, Executive Officer of the 334th Medical Group, Grand Rapids, MI, and the Joint Operations Officer Joint Task Force Medical East, Bagram Airfield, Afghanistan.

COL Marsiglia is a graduate of the Army Medical Department (AMEDD) Officer Basic and Advanced Courses, The Combined Arms and Services Staff School, the Command and General Staff College, and the Army War College. He holds a Bachelors of Science in Criminal Justice and a Masters in Strategic Studies.

COL Marsiglia’s awards and decorations include the Bronze Star Medal with one oak leaf cluster, the Meritorious Service Medal with one oak leaf cluster, The Army Commendation Medal with seven leaf cluster, the Joint Service Achievement Medal, and the Army Achievement medal with one Oak leaf Cluster.
